QISH began as a dream — the dream of Niyas Kavungal, an audiology engineer with deep empathy and over a decade of experience supporting individuals with speech and hearing challenges. Watching the struggles many families faced, he imagined a place where children and adults alike would receive not just therapy, but dignity, support, and hope. With the dedication of a few like-minded expatriates who believed in that dream, QISH was born — first offering speech therapy and audiology.
As the need for deeper, broader support grew, so did QISH. Today, we stand as a full-fledged, multidisciplinary medical center in Qatar, offering a complete range of services: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, special education, audiology, speech therapy — and even a dedicated preschool for children with special needs.
